Day 134 - 14th May 2014 - Forsythia, Ducks and Humming Bird

Wednesday - day home, thick fog and temperature is +2. Should be a fine day once that fog breaks. Full moon tonight I think. Humming birds must be early risers too, saw one already at the feeder this morning. Guess it will be a day of housework and roaming the hood. Still have some flower bulbs to get in the ground so might try to finish those up today as well.
Tuesday was a great day - lots of good things happened. Found someone's cheque on the ground and got it returned to the owner, hugged a Mom for her daughter who lives far away for Mother's Day and the bestie who was going west has decided her life is here in our little town and she's staying. Just one of those warm and fuzzy days. Had a good walk in the morning - cold mind you but no black flies - lot of birds flitting around but not many who wanted to stop for a few seconds. Tried after supper but the flies were about and it was quiet.
Forsythia blossoms were blowing to the ground in the wind.
Mrs. Yellow Rumped Warbler gathering nesting material.
This is CC aka "Cottage Cat" who lives in the hood.
Off into the wild blue yonder - Mallards I think.
Love watching the Humming Birds. New feeder and placement this year so thinking I'll get some good photos.

Enjoy your day!
