Day 125 - 5th May 2014 - Chickadee, Lake, Song Sparrow and Ferns

I woke up thinking it was Sunday and then realized another weekend has past by and it's Monday. Temperature is +5.7, mild out. No stars in the sky this morning, but the apple tree by the street light is bathed in fog. Have a good feeling about this week, hoping to get lots done. Should be a busy week around, "Hollywood" has come to town - a portion of the mini series The Book of Negroes is being shot here and they've transformed part of Docks Street back to the year 1783. They are only here for a few days, but you never know who you might run into!
Larry headed off to the last day of his course and I headed out for my walk. I was hoping to beat the rain, even though at that point in the day it really didn't look like it would. It's Nova Scotia so we all know the weather can change every 5 minutes, just wait and see! It didn't start raining until noon, stopped and cleared off around supper time. Pork roast for supper, leftovers for tonight.
Thought I was going in search of a Woodpecker but it was this little Chickadee trying to get a seed or something opened.
Streaks of clouds and colors across the sky reflected in the lake.
 Another clear day.
Looking in the lake.
The Song Sparrow didn't let me down, he was out on the point.

These Daffodils are pretty with their white petals and yellow cups.
All puffed out in the sunlight.

More ferns are popping throughout the forest.
The little white wild violets are in bloom.

Enjoy your day!
