Day 129 - 9th May 2014 - Baltimore Oriole, Chipping Sparrow and the Lake

Thick fog this morning, temperature is +4.3 but it's suppose to burn off and be fine. It's Friday, another work week ending. Overall it's been a good week.  Once again I slept until just before the alarm went off but didn't get to bed early enough and to sleep. Lots to do today, started printing off some photos for our upcoming display so can start putting that together or at least figure out how I want it to look, research to do, etc.
Yesterday the besties and I ordered lunch and went to the Park to eat. Beautiful day and we lots of giggles (or cackles). Had a pretty exciting evening Thursday. Cindy posted that she had a Baltimore Oriole in her yard, so after exercise Lois and I drove up to see if we could find it (felt like Thelma & Louise on an outing). Sure enough there he was up in the tree along with a Chipping Sparrow. That's 2 new lifers for me in one tree! Went to bed feeling just like it had been Christmas.
Sooner or later those Yellow Rumped Warblers will come down to my level. More around yesterday morning and several Hermit Thrushes.
I like the way the Pussy Willows have gone to seed. Looks kind of cool.
A beautiful evening on the lake.
Such a gorgeous fellow - Baltimore Oriole.
Hope he stays around a few days.

The Chipping Sparrow.

Enjoy your day!
