Day 317 - 12th November 2016 - Leaves, Berries and Mushrooms

Saturday, and it's the Christmas Crawl day. The Christmas Crawl is sort of a shopping party involving shops on the historic waterfront and a few on Water Street. Smaller businesses that get together and put this on. You go from place to place on the ballot and get it stamped at each one, which gives you a chance to win a great gift basket. So I'm off to work at the Ross Thomson House as we are one of the places to visit. Did I mention - we have a fabulous gift shop!  So having said all that I've been up since 2:30 am with Lexi - just what you need at that hour of the day - cleaning a dog's ear. Hopefully I can get some antibiotic cream in it this morning and we don't have a repeat tonight. Going to be a long day.

Friday was windy and the leaves were blowing all around.

A few red berries remain in the woods, nestled among the fallen leaves and pine spills.
And mushrooms

Enjoy your day!
