Day 70 - 11th March 2014 - Spring buds, Wharves and Gulls

Was late going to bed last night, so slept in a bit longer this morning. Well I probably could have gotten up earlier except Lexi was up for a snuggle and it's hard to convince her to let me out of bed some mornings. Temperature is -5.6, should warm up some. Looks like it's going to be a wet few days coming up - rain/snow whatever they can throw at us I guess. Good time to stay in.
Yesterday wasn't quite as nice as Saturday and Sunday. The sun really didn't pop out until late in the day, was kind of grey all morning and early afternoon.  You can hear the lake moaning and groaning alot these days - sure it's beginning to break some. I spent most of the day in front of the computer doing research, well that's one down, several more to do. Roast chicken last night for supper - leftovers for another night. Exercise class - more painful memories to come.
Thought I'd check and see what was sprouting through the ground now that the snow has uncovered this bed.
 Looks like Tulips here.
 More sprigs coming through.
Looks like a Junco in the tree.

A few photos left from our weekend excursion.

Enjoy your day!
