Day 68 - 9th March 2014 - Dock Street, Sunsets and Skies

Hope you remembered to set your clocks ahead last night or at least this morning when you got up. I forgot that this time change takes away my early sunrises for the next while. That's the one thing I enjoy the most. Temperature is -3.2 this morning with promises to warm up again today. Wondering if we can escape for a few hours or if we'll be stuck in the wood pile again.
A few more days like Saturday and the snow will be gone and I'll be sitting on the deck in my chair enjoying the songs of the birds. Larry got some more wood put in the basement. Did the grocery shopping. Took a quick run over to the Park, but it started to drizzle so we headed back home again. I couldn't believe how much snow had disappeared yesterday, more to go but it's making a quick job of disappearing. Of course with that comes muddy roads for anyone living where there is no paving - which are the places we like to go birding.
Looking across at Dock St. The Cox's Warehouse is coming along with it's renovations.
The only bird I saw was this loon - catching breakfast.
 Down it went!
 Feeling satisfied.
Went for a walk after supper - lot of water on the lake, maybe a few more warm days and she'll start breaking up.
 Some interesting clouds overhead.

Over West McKay Lake the sun had set. Just a glow of color behind the treeline.

Enjoy your day!
