Day 293 - 19th October 2012 - A Perfect Fall Day

Friday - not quite as early as the last few days but still too early for any normal person to be up and roaming around. Temperature is + 4.4 at 4:30am. Today's list of fun things to do include finishing the fall cleaning upstairs - bathroom and hallway. Since it's suppose to be nice, Lexi and I will spend some time outside. I do have to remember however, that it is bow hunting season and partridge season is open as well. Guess we better dig out a little of that flourescent hunter orange to wear when we are tramping through the woods. We are usually close enough to houses that we shouldn't have to worry but you never know. Lexi probably should have some hunter orange too, but can't think she would really keep it on.
Busy morning yesterday, managed to get muffins made, a casserole for supper, laundry, dishes (3 times) some minor housework and a walk with Lexi before heading to town with Karen. We had a lovely visit with Kim in the afternoon - so glad we went out to see her. Exercise class last night - don't think I'm improving but will keep at it. If I could actually sleep, life would be pretty good right now. It warmed up and was another beautiful day. It was so quiet and peaceful through the woods yesterday. The path is littered with pine spills and leaves and make a soft bed under your feet as you walk along.
The colors are total perfection on the lake. Taking advantage of the sights.
Right side up or upside down? Just the reflections of the trees in the lake.
Not even a ripple on the lake yesterday.
I don't think you can get more beautiful than what we've been enjoying this last week in the country. For you city dwellers - head out to the country!

Time to check my scrabble games, I'm sure Susan is beating me in a few - see if I can make a comeback! Enjoy your day!
