Day 232 - 19th August 2016 - Magnolia Warbler, Ducks and Palm Warbler

Back to work. Our reno stuff didn't make it yesterday but will be delivered today, so Larry will leave work a bit early to meet the truck. That will provide him with some entertainment while I'm working this weekend and probably the next few. Looks like another fine day, no rain in sight til the first of the week (maybe).
Beautiful day off. Headed out early for my stalk around the hood - boy is it ever getting quiet these days, hardly a bird around. I puttered around the house, got a few things done, off for another walk, tea with Lois. Then went  to town for lunch with the girls at Charlotte Lane Cafe. Nice time, lots of laughter. After all laughter is the best medicine!

Magnolia Warblers

Palm Warbler
Ducks in the lake - the water has come up a tad but not much.
And a local rodent, hanging out on Lois' gazeboo.

Enjoy your day!

  1. I popped out Wed night to the cottage to see niece Guylaine who was staying there for a few days. I was blown away by how low the lake was. There were rocks showing that I had no idea were there. No wonder we rip our shins, knees and toes off when we swim in front of Linda's. Wow.
