Day 228 - 15th August 2016 - Winter Wren, White Throated Sparrow and Alder Flycatcher

Weekend is over, back to work. Not sure how much I got accomplished but we can blame lack of work on heat, humidity and lack of rain. It was a good weekend - got some birding and shopping in, as well as a little down time. Stars are all out this morning - looks like another warm day in the making.
Very little rain but lots of humidity on Sunday. We headed off to Yarmouth via the back road since that's the route to see things and we did. One live Coyote and a dead one, Dear, a Bear, a Mink, two Red-Tailed Hawks, Canada Geese, Common Yellowthroat Warblers and Alder Flycatchers. So it was a good drive. Picked up some stuff at Red and White, then went off in the direction of Overton  and out to Thomas Road. I was rewarded with a lifer -  Winter Wren, more Common Yellowthroats, Red Breasted Nuthatches, Yellow Warblers, a Cedar Waxwing, White Throated Sparrow and some shorebirds on the way back. Since we wanted to get home early, we didn't go any further and ended our birding. Finished off the errands we needed to do and headed back home.
The lifer -Winter Wren. There were actually two flitting around, hiding in branches but I remained patient.
