Day 225 - 12th August 2016 - Yellow Warbler, Cobwebs and Great Blue Heron

An extra hour of sleep this morning felt good. The start of my long weekend - three days off. So with any luck there will be some birding involved, going to Barrington some time to order what I need for the renos to the downstairs bathroom. Hopefully we can get that underway next month once it starts to cool off. Too hot to tackle that stuff now. We're off to a BBQ this evening so will probably make a batch of biscuits to take, little housework today and some roaming.
The humidity was back with a vengeance on Thursday. I went in town early with Larry and had a good jaunt along the water front. Fog was thick but eventually lifted. Spied Yellow Warblers, Red Eyed Vireos and Northern Parulas - nice to see a few Warblers. A busy day at work - visitors from lots of different places. Went for a quick walk after supper, stopped for tea with Lois. I broke down and got Larry to check the well - 4 feet left which really means about 2 1/2 to 3 feet depending on where the foot valve is.

 Cobwebs were everywhere.

Enjoy your day!
