Day 216 - 3rd August 2016 - Black & White Warbler, Common Yellowthroat and Magnolia Warbler

Off with a couple of the gals to do some birding this morning - know we'll have fun, fingers crossed we find some interesting birds. I've so missed seeing the shorebirds this season. We are heading to Hemeon's Head this morning - one of my favourite spots. Had a great day off Tuesday. My morning walk was a little foggy and quiet but I went back out before lunch and found a few birds around. Missed the male American Redstart - just couldn't coax him out of those dense bushes far enough for a good shot. After supper our yard was filled with a flock of Cedar Waxwings, lots of Hermit Thrushes and Palm Warblers. I managed to get a few things done around the house, although it's really in need of a good "spring" cleaning but that will have to wait a while. Even managed a swim after lunch. Cathy stopped for coffee and while we were on the deck - it started to rain - nice and refreshing but not enough to do any good.
Black & White Warbler - oh he played with this for quite a while.

Male Common Yellowthroat Warbler.

Juvenile Common Yellowthroat.
Magnolia Warbler
And a little wing action

Enjoy your day!
