Day 228 - 16th August 2014 - Palm Warbler, Northern Parula and Spider Webs

Up a little too early for a Saturday (4:30 am) but hopefully I can snag a couple minutes of a snooze some time today even though it's going to be busy. I'm going to go roam the hood this morning, then get some things done here. We've got company coming for the night so we'll head out to Barrington later this afternoon, do some shopping and meet her. Hoping to catch the Avocet, Buff breasted Sandpiper and Oyster Catchers on Cape Sable Island - I'm not asking for much, just everything! Maybe supper at West Head take out or burgers at home, depends on how things are going and how tired everyone is. No great plans for the evening.
Another good day and the end of the week. Rah - that means the weekend and some birding, well after Larry works in the wood pile for a while and I do some housework - ugh!  He mowed the lawn after supper and I did a few things around the house. Lexi of course insisted on her drive up the road. The dog rules the house I'm sure. She appreciates having him home at supper time these days. She's a good dog and provides lots of love and stays home all day so an outing every few nights is fine by me.
Palm Warbler. This time of year the Warblers are getting harder to identify - young ones don't have all their colors yet.
Northern Parula in one of our apple trees.

There always seems to be lots of webs around these mornings.

A couple of mornings ago the sun was just breaking through the fog on the lake.
The blooms on the beans looks great but would soon love to be eating some.

Enjoy your day!
