Day 155 - 8th June 2017 Giant Allium, Violas and Song Sparrow

Today is my Friday! Although when you are open seven days a week you really don't have Fridays but it's my weekend off and a long one to boot! Yesterday was a beauty of a day - nice sunny weather, little wind but not nearly what we've been getting. Had a good day at work, we planted the vegetable garden  in the afternoon, a few visitors around. Evenings don't seem long enough to get everything done. The Robins always seem to be the first to arrive in the morning and the last to go to bed. Out in the grass they are pulling up worms and bugs. Since our property is between two lakes, it's often a fly zone - 6 Canada Geese went over last night as I was enjoying a few minutes on the deck. Hummingbirds are actively fighting over the feeder and a Hermit Thrush perched on the fence.

Enjoy your day!
