Day 342 - 7th December 2016 - Ice, Snow and the Lake

Pretty chilly out there this morning but looks like it will turn in to another nice day. I'm back in the kitchen again - well that's where I'm spending most of the week. Made good progress yesterday even though I got distracted in the morning and had a late start.  Two pans of fudge, 6 dozen peanut butter balls, chocolate roll and yule trees mixed to tackle today. Roast in the slower cooker, made the supper meal easy with leftovers for tonight. Birds are in and out of the feeder all day - Blue Jays, Mourning Doves, Chickadees, Goldfinches and Nuthatches. A few Purple Finches are around but haven't seen the Evening Grosbeak although Lois had the female at her feeder yesterday.
A beautiful serene morning on the lake.
 Ice rings around the grasses
Just a few snowflakes decked the bushes.
A bit of fluff and ice.

Enjoy your day!
