Day 6 - 6th January 2015 - Clouds and Ice

Brrr a cold morning, temperature is -12; the stars are out and there is a layer of snow on the ground again. Or that's what I see from the kitchen window in the moonlight.  Going to make turkey soup, maybe some rolls and a casserole if there's enough turkey left. It's a good week for soup, something that will warm you from the inside out. Back to grant applications and cleaning out photos today. Pick a project and do it, right? New Year's resolution maybe. At least I accomplish something this way.
Got down to serious business and started the year off right yesterday. Hopefully I will continue and not get distracted. Well it's the time of year that the outside doesn't draw me too much, mostly just for jaunts with Lexi around the hood. Started off on the grant applications and cleaning up a database. Some housework - new plans are to do a little each day so things don't get so over the top, but then come better weather I ignore as much of that as possible.  Back to exercise class last night, Cindy was kind to us and start us off gently after our little holiday break.
A little gold dust on the cranberry ditch, perhaps?

The sky was full of clouds.
I managed to get some interesting ice photos along the edge of the lake.
A little sunshine would have added some bling to the ice, but sometimes you have to work with what's there.

I'm sure these spots are frozen up again this morning.

Enjoy your day!
