Day 170 - 19th June 2014 - Red-Eyed Vireo, Iris and old Wharves

Looks like a sunny day on the way. Robins and Starlings are in the yard hunting for worms and grubs in the grass. Just saw a pair of Evening Grosbeaks pop out of the Honeysuckle bush. Would be great to be home but off I go to work - lots to do. Couple of the girls are coming in this afternoon to start the spring cleaning.  Have someone coming this morning for an interview - oh I don't like doing those but it's a necessary evil sometimes.
Lexi and I had a good day at home, even though it was mostly an inside day of housework. We went walking a couple of times, the second time I bagged up the camera and took that too. Did catch the Red-Eyed Vireo, but the light was miserable.

Red-Eyed Vireo.
Love the raindrops on flowers.

Weigela  in the evening light.
A few from our afternoon on Cape Sable Island.
I guess these are old wharves no longer in use.

Enjoy your day!
