Day 158 - 7th June 2014 - Woodpecker, Butterfly, Robin and Apple Blossoms

Saturday, up a tad too early, but that's the way it rolls, no point in complaining. A bit cloudy overcast out there this morning, but it sounds like it might clear. Got work to do around here and then I have to go tend the Yard Sale table for work around noon and pick up some groceries. Hoping to get some birding in this weekend but it will probably be mostly in my own hood. Not seeing much time to go elsewhere.
Had a good day Friday, Laura and I went to a Shelburne County Tourism meeting - got some new ideas, learned a few things. Then we went back to the office and did some brainstorming.  Fresh ideas are always good. Now if some other things would fall in to place I think we could be in great shape! It was kind of a misty, damp day and a little on the cool side. I just spent the evening kind of vegging out.
The lake has been getting low, you can see the rocks along the Islands.
A Female Hairy Woodpecker having breakfast.
I thought this looked pretty cool.
Apple Blossoms are finished for another year.

Lots of these Swallowtail Butterflies around.

Enjoy your day!
