Day 153 - 2nd June 2014 - Lady Slippers, Lupins, Toads and a Butterfly

Monday morning and I've slept in til just before the alarm went off - why can I never sleep in on the weekends. Looks like it's going to be another beautiful warm day. Summer might finally be here. Of course I've put off pulling out my lighter weight clothes with the cooler weather we've had - some how I knew that would happen. It's a busy week ahead - lot to do and lots going on - right through to Sunday. Need to get those display labels done today - fingers crossed.
This year seems to be speeding by quickly, already we are in the sixth month. Had a fairly relaxing day around home on Sunday. Did some roaming, had tea with Lois on her deck (all world problems  solved once again), a little housework and some time outside. Larry mowed the lawn and worked in the greenhouse. Turkey with all the trimmings for supper.
The first of the Lady Slippers in bloom - lots more to come.
Lupins look like they may be next.
Seems to be more butterflies every day.
 He's guarding the feeder.
My Wisteria is beginning to put out blooms too.

Seemed to be a lot of planes in the sky yesterday - this one was quite low.
Not exactly handsome but Toads are kind of cool.
The Parulas were all over the apple trees again.

Enjoy your day!
