Day 15 - 15th January 2017 - Squirrel, Blue Jays and Song Sparrow

Saturday was a cold day - maybe more so after having a couple of really warm ones. It's gone up to -7 this morning with a little snow on the ground and a few more flakes drifting through the air. Not enough for snowshoes though. A bunch of us went to Trivia  at the Curling Club last night - it was fun and lots of laughs. Of course we weren't the winning team, but didn't do so bad. Guess we'll head off to Barrington for some shopping today, maybe I'll even spy a few birds - get a quick trip around Cape Sable Island - it's been months since I've had an opportunity to go out there.

There's always a few squirrels around the feeders.

A chubby Song Sparrow was feeding at my house.

Blue Jays - not a great shot but I like the softness of their blue and white showing through the tree branches.

Several Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers at Lois' in the morning - the love this feeder.

Enjoy your day!
