Day 13- 13th January 2017 - Canada Geese, Ice and the Lake

Another wet day, easy on the woodpile though, didn't build a fire until mid afternoon. Got a pair of britches started in the sewing room during the morning, then moved on to other stuff around the house. No strain - just taking my time and getting things done. Made a Shepherds Pie for supper - pretty tasty and something different. I keep seeing on Facebook friends making donuts - guess some day soon I'll take a stab at those - so look out friends if they turn out good I'll be delivering some around. Not really something that's on Larry's diet! No sign of the Red Wing Blackbird or anything exciting at the feeders, just the Chickadees, Goldfinches, Mourning Doves and Blue Jays. Good workout at exercise class last evening.  Mild out there this morning, looks like a sunny day on the horizon.  Colder on the weekend then it looks like it's going to warm up again next week.  Lunch today with a friend, so better get a few things done around here this morning.
With the Lake open again, maybe the Canada Geese will stop by.

A little shell ice from a colder day.

Another dull day over the lake.

Enjoy your day!
