Day 185 - 4th July 2014 - Sailboats, Dories, Longboat and Flowers

Happy Holidays to our neighbours in the USA. Did I really need to get up at 4:30 am this morning - well it's been a while since I've had one of these mornings so I guess I'll survive. Glad it's going to be a short day as I'm off at dinner time but have a lot to get done this morning before I leave.  Will do the grocery shopping and then head for home. We are suppose to get Hurricane Arthur on Saturday or he may be a post tropical storm by that time. They have the big red weather alert/warning bars up on the weather sites. Sounds like wind and rain no matter which it is.
I spent all of Thursday on the waterfront set up selling our publications. Talked to lots of nice people from the cruise ship, sold a few books and made some local contacts. The fog didn't lift and sun come out until late in the afternoon. Exercise class last night, I'm sure I should be able to sweat as many pounds off as I work off - man it was hot!
Foggy and misty on the harbour most of the day. The boats look like they will sail over the edge.

I'm not really sure what this flower is but it's rather pretty.
The hanging baskets look great along Dock St. hanging from the lamp posts.
The Long Boat rowers were out.
Roses along the waterfront.

Enjoy your day!
