Day 82 - 22nd March 2016 - Pine Siskin, Goldfinch and Chickadee

Stars are all out this morning - been a few days since I've seen them. Looks like a cool but sunny day on the horizon. Am looking forward to a good tramp around the hood, then a kitchen mostly day. A big pot of soup, Easter cupcakes for the girls and who knows what else. Oh yeah... a little more of the cleaning.
Monday was another Maritime weather day - snow, ice pellets, rain and a little more snow.  So we put that day behind us and hope for better today! The feeders were busy with the nasty weather - the small birds patiently wait for the bigger ones (Blue Jays, Grackles) to have their fill. The Chipping Sparrow is still hanging out. He's been here all winter. Well it was an inside day of computer work - week 2 of my online course, some other work. Then a little more work in the room I'm cleaning out. A chat with a friend on the phone - our weekly catch up. Exercise class last evening rounded the day out.
Pine Siskin - a little ragged looking from the weather.
There are always a few Pine Siskins mixed in with the Goldfinches and they seem to get along well.

The curious Chickadee.

A few Crocuses from a sunnier day!

Enjoy your day!
