Day 60 - 1st March 2017 - Turkey Vultures and Mallards

Welcome March - will you be a windy month? "March winds, April showers bring forth Mayflowers", although normally Mayflowers appear sometime in April, maybe earlier if the weather is good. My Daphne bush is beginning to bud up, it's one of the earliest to bloom. Periods of rain, chance of thundershowers and some wind in the forecast for today. That will probably take the rest of the snow. The lake is breaking up, can see a few small ice floats in the river down below.  Since it sounds like a wet day, guess it's going to be back to database entry for me. As much as I dislike it, time to put a push on and get it done. I think a stew simmering on the back of the stove will work for a few days of meals.

Turkey Vulture flying high overhead.

They like to hang out in trees too.

Mallards preening and soaking up the sun on someone's floating dock.

Enjoy your day!
