Day 253- 10th September 2015 - Palm Warbler, Goldfinches, Cape Light and Black & White Warbler

No stars this morning, a little rain has appeared overnight. Maybe more for today and the next few. The lake is very low, forest fire index high, so it would be welcomed. Ideally rain at night is the best kind, but then we don't always get what we wish for. Work day, as usual lots to do.
Eventually the haze disappeared and the sun came out. A little humid in the afternoon but not too bad. Quiet morning on the lake, I did see a lone Ring-Neck Duck and a few warblers - Palm, Black & White, Northern Parula.  Puttered around the house, laundry, a little cleaning and cooking. Edited some photos, get a few more ready to print off for cards. Thinking about a Calendar so checked into costs etc. Tea with Lois on her deck - solved a few world problems as we often do.
Palm Warbler, see them nearly every day now.
Goldfinches.

Looking out at the Light on the Cape.

The Greater Yellow Legs has an odd feather sticking up.
Terrible shot, but he wasn't coming closer - Ring-neck Duck in the lake.

Black & White Warbler.

Enjoy your day!
