Day 300 - 26th October 2016 - Bird Bath, Phlox and Fungi

Brr... the air turned colder on Tuesday, the wind goes right through a body. I guess we always feel the same way every year - memories are short from season to season. Good day at work - as usual. All I see when we come home at suppertime is Grackles, Mourning Doves and Blue Jays. Did up a few things around the house last evening - load of laundry, etc. Nothing really interesting and headed to bed early. Larry checked the well and it's come up a little more. More rain coming on Friday so that should make a difference, perhaps it will soon get up to a normal level. Off today, will finally get to roam the hood - been a while since I've had a chance. Some cooking and cleaning on the list of fun things to do!

Time to take in the birdbath.

A single bloom remains on my phlox hedge.
I leave it for the birds - lots of seeds and a good hiding spot.

The sun was setting over Beaver Farm Lake.
Fungi grows on the wood pile.

Enjoy your day!
