Day 256 - 12th September 2016 - Deer, Black-Throated Green Warbler and Pitcher Plant

Weekend is over, time to go back to work. Beautiful morning out there, stars are all out, air is cooler and much fresher. Feels good! Sunday was a mostly around home day. Larry worked on the bathroom renovations, I puttered around doing up some meal prep, muffins and light house work. Took a drive up the road to visit a friend later in the afternoon. Got out for a quick morning walk but nothing exciting around. Seems to be large flocks of Chickadees with a few Warblers mixed in these days. Hummingbirds are still hanging out, but any day now they will disappear. I leave the feeders out for  a few more weeks, sometimes there are a few strays hungry as they make their way to warmer climates for the winter.

Deer - there are plenty of these around.
