Day 135 - 14th May 2016 - Black & White Warbler, Northern Parula and Oven Bird

It's the day we've been waiting for - the Global Big Day - Spring Migration Bird Count - time to count birds!  Hoping the rain clears as I don't really want to spend the whole day in the car, there are definitely some spots I like to get out and roam around. I'll soon have to wake up Larry as we'll need an early start.
More fine weather on Friday - warm, sunny just what spring is all about. Had a good day even though it was the 13th. A few more things cleaned up at work, feels good to be digging myself out of the winter backlog. Not that there's not more to do but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Lunch out with a friend.  A walk after supper - found a few more Northern Parulas and heard a Hermit Thrush.
Black and White Warbler just hanging out.
In the blink of an eye he had a bug and I never saw him move!

Not a particularly great shot but 1st of the season - Ovenbird.

White Strawberries are in bloom along the road side.

Northern Parula
Dandelion gone to bloom - yes it's time the mow the lawn again

Enjoy your day!
