Day 46 - 15th February 2016 - Herring Gull, Lighthouse and Feeders

Monday morning  and a Nova Scotia holiday -  Heritage Day.  Temperatures are suppose to rise this week  and bring some rain.  I've got lots to get done in the next few days, so it will be nose to the grindstone. Had a lovely Valentine's Day - got some work done in the morning, then read for a while in the afternoon. We went to Sandy Point for the creamed lobster supper - very yummy especially since someone else cooked it. Great group of volunteers.  The feeders were busy again - but the same regular birds. I should be grateful that they come everyday but would still love to have a few Redpolls or something "unusual" this winter.
 1st Winter Herring Gull.
The Sandy Point Lighthouse - view from the Community Centre where we had supper.

Lovely hubby made me a new feeder for Valentine's Day.
Goldfinches, Chipping Sparrow and a Purple Finch having a bad hair day!

Enjoy your day!
