Day 125 - 5th May 2018 - Ferns, Wood Duck and Canada Goose

Looks a little overcast out there this morning and there is a slim chance of showers.  The sun might come out later. It's been  a little lazy lately, but eventually shows up. No idea what we are doing or where we are going today. I know that we need to pick up a few groceries and Larry has bottles bagged up to turn in to the depot. I'll check out the Industrial Park for new birds - it's been a couple of weeks since I've been there. Friday turned out fine and warm. Blackflies are swarming, more of a nuisance but not biting, that's going to happen in a day or so. The yard is ready to be mowed. Went for a roam around in the morning, but other than the Ducks and Geese, not much else. Maybe I was too early.  Had a good day out, got my hair cut (feels 20 lbs lighter), we  had our regular Friday fish and chips, a couple of errands and then home bound. Six of us meant we could play teams last night  for Aggravation -Larry, Alice & Margie beat Mary, Elizabeth and myself.  We'll get them next time!
Ferns are beginning to emerge from the winter's sleep.
There were two male Wood Ducks yesterday, one decided to join the Geese and Mallards on the dock for breakfast.
The Guard Goose!

Enjoy your day!
