Day 122 - 2nd May 2018 - Clouds, Vinca and a Wood Duck

Well that was a sleepless night, I will be running on nothing but fumes today. And of course I've got to work because it's cruise ship day! But it's suppose to be a beautiful day. Already daylight is filtering through the trees as the sun comes up in multi colours - orange, yellows and pink. The sounds of morning have started - Geese coming down the lake, Crows and Song Sparrows. Indeed it's going to be a nice one. Yesterday was mostly rain and cold. I did get out for a quick jaunt in the morning before the rain, but it was quiet - nothing around. After supper we built a fire in the furnace - first one in a week - just to take the chill off. Tuesday, Margie, Alice and I went on a short road trip -Port Clyde to drop some stuff off to Betty, lunch at Clyde River and then Barrington. Found a pair of new shoes for work and the girls picked up a few groceries at No Frills. Trivia last night - lots of laughs but no wins for our team.
Took this a few days ago - lots of fluffy clouds over the lake.
 Vinca in bloom

And I had to share another pic of the Wood Duck since I took so many.

Enjoy your day!
