Day 168 - 16th June 2016 - Iris', Roses and Sun Catchers

The Loons and Song Sparrows are singing this morning - what a great way to start the day. Looks like it's going to be a nice day and hopefully the wind doesn't pick back up. School group coming so it will be a busy morning. Hopefully this afternoon we can get some work done in the gardens.  Roast going in the slow cooker before I head out for my walk to catch my ride, that should hold us for the next few days. Since I'm working the weekend Larry can handle meals then. Nice to be able to divide some of the work load up.
Another Nova Scotia weather day - sun, rain, sun and lots of wind! Oh well it will change around soon and be warm and sunny after all summer is only 5 days away. It was a good day at work, a few visitors around but not a lot, however, those that come through are always interested in what we have and are lovely to speak with.  I went over to the Dory Shop and the girls gave me a little tour there just so I could familiarize myself with the place. Always good to know what you are talking about when you are sending people somewhere.
Iris' in the morning light on Dock Street. There are some beautiful flowers in yards.

There are Roses budding up along the street.

And others in bloom.
Sun catchers in one of the windows at the Dory Shop. All three museums at the Complex have gift shops with unique and interesting items. Stop in a do some shopping!

Enjoy your day!
