Day 95 - 5th April 2018 - Crocuses, Red Breasted Nuthatch and Purple Finch

Samantha and I made it to Springhill yesterday - miserable drive of mostly fog and rain. And it's a long drive but we made lots of  "pit stops" along the way so it didn't seem too bad.  We've rented a little house - kind of cute  - nice to have a kitchen, etc. A few small issues but maybe we country girls who are used to using wood just can't figure out how to turn on fancy electric heaters - we did well to unlock and lock the door! All good fun. There is still snow on the ground up here!! Not a day for birding (only saw some Crows and Gulls), but we are going to head over to Joggins this morning early and maybe something will pop up. Looking forward to the workshop - should be interesting. Neither of us have been to the cliffs so it will be a new adventure   - something all of us should have once in a while.
