Day 42 - 11th February 2018 - Black Guillemot, Brant Geese and Red Necked Grebe

It's a wet one out there this morning, good day to stay inside and do some cooking and catch up on house work....or curl up with a book and a pot of tea.  After a lazy start to Saturday we headed out to Cape Sable Island mid morning. Truthfully we were waiting for the road to get better - but were surprised when we discovered our area seemed to be the only place that got snow the night before - none in town or along our drive. Guess living up north will do that! Did the loop around CSI checking out some of the wharves looking for Ducks or anything that might appear.  It was great to get back into birding again and we had a few good finds. Nothing new but that doesn't always matter. Then it was back to Barrington for groceries, stopped at Clyde River for an early supper/late lunch then homeward. Last night we played Aggravation and watched Chase the Ace, well we didn't win, but the Ace lived and it was a fun Saturday night.
