Day 36 - 5th February 2018 - Downy Woodpecker, Ice and Boats

It's a wet and wild morning out there - wind is blowing and raining hard. Guess we don't have to shovel it and it's mild. Larry heads back to work this morning, can't believe he's been home for  4 months. Spent a couple of hours yesterday whipping up lunches for him - 10 in total will hold him for the next couple of weeks. Chicken and veggie Stirfry with Quinoa, Meatloaf with roasted potatoes and veggies, Salmon cakes with pasta and veggies and Sloppy Joes (no bun) with turnip fries and veggies.  Can't forget a batch of  blueberry/cranberry muffins. Individual freezer bags of meals means he can pull out what he wants for lunch. He's in charge of his own salad and fruit to go along with it. He's put on a few pounds since his surgery but will probably drop those again once he's more active. Looks like mostly an inside day for me - but lots to get done. This week I'll start the spring cleaning, but today I'll clean up a few left over projects.
