Day 35 - 4th February 2018 - Goldfinches and Red Winged Blackbiirds

Another pretty morning out there, the snow is sparkling from the back door light, a little more fell overnight but not much and continues - just falling gently in the peaceful morning.  As I say every morning - no wind, but that won't last. Temperatures are going to rise with rain on it's way later. What bouncy weather we have, most of this week though looks mild. It will be a good week for me to pick a day and go to town - maybe Wednesday or Thursday. I want a few days first at home to get some things done. So today is getting Larry ready for work day! Lots of food prep to do and he can dig his work clothes back out. Made the pilgrimage into town yesterday for groceries - sure is depressing what you have to spend to eat healthy. Would be cheaper just to have a diet of chocolate and chips! Played Aggravation last evening  - Mary & I beat Larry and Margie, that was fun! Feeders are busy but still no sign of Purple Finches this year.
 A tree top ornament
Three of the Red Winged Blackbirds, they seem to like this feeder and rarely come to the ones closer to the house.
Goldfinches - like yellow baubles on the Christmas Tree.

Enjoy your day!
