Day 211 3rd August 2017 - Flower Baskets, Grackle and Boats

Looks like another foggy morning but will no doubt lift later and turn out warm as it has all week. At least on Wednesday there was a nice breeze on the waterfront which makes the heat more bearable. Came home last night to a dead Flicker in the yard - kitchen window strike. Usually that doesn't happen this time of year with no feeders but will have to see about getting some decals. Sat on the deck after supper for a while and watched Northern Parulas in the apple tree, Palm Warblers, Grackles, Robins and Starlings feeding in the grass. Our lawn must be full of bugs since they all seem to be very happy.

The flower baskets going along Dock St are beautiful and full now.

A Grackle gets a drink along the shoreline.

Lovely calm morning on the harbour.

Enjoy your day!
