Day 185 - 14th August 2018 - Hummingbird, Northern Parula and Yellow Warbler

Lately I'm up too early every morning, need to get past this and sleep til 5:00 - 5:30 am again. I enjoy getting up early but not before 5, it's going to be a long day and by this afternoon I'll be dragging my butt. Ah well, nothing I can do about it now but move on with the day. So yesterday was a good day at work, weather was pretty ok too. Not nearly as hot and humid as it's been. Quiet walk yesterday morning, wasn't  a bird anywhere, but the backyard has been busy with birds-a number of different Warblers, Chickadees etc. The Hummingbirds are ferocious these days, one hardly dares to sit on the deck for fear of being in the middle of a fight! They are still giving a chance of showers today (as they did for Monday and last evening) nothing yet. Had supper at Margie's last night on the way home - it was nice.

We have five or six Hummingbirds these days.

Northern Parula

Palm Warbler

Yellow Warbler

Enjoy your day!
