Day 178 - 7th August 2018 - Catbird, Chestnut Sided Warbler and Mallards

Every day seems hotter than the day before, this heat wave soon has to break, doesn't it? Every night when we get home, I turn the air conditioner on in the bedroom, last night the temperature read 89 - that's the hottest yet. Thank goodness for the AC, makes it bearable for sleeping! Good day at work, although the minute you attempted to move fast or do too much you were drenched in sweat. Better to just take it slow and pace yourself. Not a lot of people around, I guess those that were off for the holiday were at the beach. Today is the first day of the Shelburne Exhibition with the parade starting things off this evening. We'll get our float put together this afternoon, share some pizza for supper and then have some fun. Larry has to head home right after work, since he and a couple of the other guys will be in the parade with one of our fire trucks. That's going to be my ride home after the parade!
