Day 259 - 20th September 2017 - Cobwebs, Chickadee and Song Sparrow

Glad after today I have a couple of days off. Today is going to be very long, as I'm up way too early...groan. It's been raining but can't tell if we've had much or not, still humid - thanks to Hurricane Jose. Good day at work yesterday, love the fall visitors who are travelling and stop to the museums.
Grandmother's Journal:
19 September 1977- Drove to Clyde in to town. Kim here when we got back for the night, came up with Barb. Nice day, made bread and rolls. Enjoyed the ride, no cars on the road. Leaves are turning. Lots of color but Maples still green. Ina and Ransome up. Barb back for water. Gertrude and I played crib after everyone was gone. Kim going to town with Barb in morning.
20 September 1977 - To town at noon time. High winds. Took Kim over to to go school when Barb went to work. Drive was pretty this morning. Bob back to work tomorrow.
21 September 1977 - Rain very hard. Home early. Played a game of crib with Gertrude. Heard thunder. Barb and family over in the evening.
