Day 179 - 2nd July 2017 - Wild Iris', Lily Pads and Mushrooms

I think we could use a break in the weather. Two rainy days off was really not what I had planned but it doesn't look like the sun will shine until late in the day. Saturday was mostly a day around the house, catching up on some housework, etc. All those things you love to do...not! I guess today may end up to be much like yesterday except for a run to town sometime for groceries. I'm noticing a few more bird families around the yard these days. Purple Finches seem to be hanging out, some young Starlings are picking grubs and bugs in the grass, a pair of Hairy Woodpeckers keep trying to get food from the empty feeders and there are lots of Chickadees here again.

The Wild Iris' are almost finished now, something else will be popping up in bloom.
The lake is filled with lily pads
Mushrooms are emerging through out the woods.

Enjoy your day
