Day 277 - 8th October 2017 - Lily Pads, Mallards and Red-Breasted Nuthatch

Happy Thanksgiving! Certainly warm out there this morning, can hear a Song Sparrow in the bushes, an Owl along the lake somewhere. Yesterday morning a few Geese were in the lake, but not close to our side. Had a good day at work Saturday, a few visitors/tourists around - enough to keep from getting bored with my own company. Since it was such a beautiful day, I spent some time in the garden pulling up the rest of the radishes and lettuce that had bolted. Overall it wasn't a bad little garden patch. Back at it today, then I'm off for 3 days. Larry continues to progress well, has a good attitude about his recovery and does his exercises and walks around the house faithfully. So all is good in that department. I'm not expecting any marathons to be run this week and there are still things he needs help with but things are certainly looking up.
 Still lots of lily pads.

Enjoy your day!
