Day 152 - 2nd June 2018 - Iris, American Redstart and Kayakers

Overcast this morning and pretty humid feeling out. The forecast says a few showers then clearing later. But I see cobwebs on the grass and that's a sure sign the sun will come out. I'm  working today.  Museums are now all open daily for the season. Had a great day off on Friday - buzzed around and did some housework, laundry etc. in the morning then Thelma and Louise lunch. We played marbles last night and our team beat Larry's team. Yup we were all very happy and I know a few others are cheering this morning with that news. Poor Larry - everyone wants to beat him at marbles. Think I'll head in a little early and do the grocery shopping so that lovely weekly chore is out of the way.

Iris' are blooming now.

Found a couple of American Redstarts on Maiden Lane, nice to see their return.

The Staff Kayaking in the harbour on Thursday with Candlebox Kayaking- everyone had a great time.
