Had a fantastic day off on Tuesday! Sun was out with a nice breeze - just a comfortable day. Lots done around the house, cooking for the rest of the week and even found some time to roam the hood. And it was a good roam - found a couple of spots with birds. Black & White Warblers, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Palm Warblers, Northern Parulas, Red-Eyed Vireo, Ovenbird and finally the Blue Headed Vireo and Chestnut Sided Warbler. Still missing a few of the ones I see every year but at least I've located a couple more of the regular ones. Our yard has been busy as well, a number of Palm Warblers flitting about - in the grass on the fence chasing one another and Northern Parulas in the apple trees and bushes. Always a couple of Woodpeckers nearby and of course Robins a Hermit Thrush and Northern Flickers. Little overcast looking this morning, possible chance of showers for today and I'm back to work.
