Day 94 - 4th April 2018 - Chipmunk, Crocuses and Canada Geese

Going away for a few days to a workshop and I get up at 4 am! Darn after sleeping well for a month I picked this morning not to. It's been raining with promises of more for today. Was hoping it would be fine and there would be some birding along the way. Big B is going anyway, been a long time since she's been on a road trip and never know we might find something.  Our workshop is in Joggins - am interested to see the complex, not an area I'm familiar with. We are staying in Springhill, about 30 minute drive from Joggins, so two new places. Ironically I've done genealogy for the surrounding area - never know where people will end up or start out. Tuesday was the ultimate spring day - beautiful, warm and sunny. As usual, the feeders were busy and the yard was just one big music festival of birds singing.

Our resident Chipmunk with his cheeks full.

The Crocuses are in full bloom now.

And of course William & Kate, although I'm wondering why they aren't off nesting somewhere.

Enjoy your day!
