Day 274 - 5th October 2017 - Leaves, Chickadee and Hawk

Maybe a chance of showers this morning - skies are dark, overcast and no stars.  The lake is getting lower, we do need some rain before winter sets in. Better morning, didn't get up until 5am and Larry is still snoring, hopefully he had a good night. I'm not waking him, will just enjoy my coffee and get this posted. I can see an improvement every day - doing his exercises, getting around with his walker. Still a few things he needs help with but that will come. Got out on the deck again in the afternoon for some air. VON was here again to change his bandages on the incision - that's healing up nicely.  I even got out for a roam in the hood - just for 1/2 hour or so.

 Leaves are littering the lake these days

 Chickadees are little acrobats.

While we were out on deck, this Hawk was flying over a neighbour's yard. Not sure what kind.
