Here we are on the last day of March, another month rolls by. Stars are all out this morning and the moon is hanging low behind the branches of a big pine tree. Makes me think of Halloween for some reason. Going to be a fine day so I'll take advantage of some time around the hood. Surely one of these days soon something interesting will pop out.
Seemed to strange to have a sunny Wednesday when I was in town. On the way in we saw one of the Bald Eagles in the old tree next to the rive watching for ducks no doubt. It's a perfect spot for him to see all around. The harbour didn't yield much - mostly gulls. Friends got photographs of the first Piping Plovers to arrive at Cape Sable Island for the season - that has to be a sign of spring. I got out after supper for a walk, stopped for tea with Lois. A female Mallard flew into her bird feeders - she comes every year.
Bald Eagle.
I did catch this Song Sparrow on the waterfront.
He was quite content to stay in the bushes but sang his song for me.
And the Sandy Point Lighthouse always seems to be floating.
Enjoy your day!
