No fog this morning. Looks like another nice day in the making. Going to take advantage of being home since it's a holiday. I'll do a little cooking (that I didn't do yesterday), roam the hood and catch up on some laundry and a few other things. Larry's working.
Another hot hot day! Larry cooked up breakfast, the girls packed up and hit the road for home. I headed out to see what was around the hood. Just the regular suspects - nothing to get terribly excited about - Common Yellow throats, Yellow rumps, Hermit Thrushes, Blue Jays, Grackles and Robins. Larry spent a lot of time in the wood - splitting and piling, I puttered around.
One of my favourite yard visitors - the Grey Catbird.
There are so many Damselflies and Dragonflies around now.
Clouds - layer up layer.
Bottoms up! Feeding time at Myrna's.
Young Hermit Thrush.
Enjoy your day!
