Day 19 - 19th January 2014 - Flooding, Lichen, Raindrops and Chickadees.

My internet finally returned at some point this afternoon. So it's going to be short and sweet. Today we said good by to an old friend. Alan will certainly be missed and there was a huge crowd of family and friends to see him off.
An overcast gloomy day on Saturday. Mostly spent in the kitchen - pans of squares and brown bread rolls, some puttering around the house. We started getting that wet heavy snow by supper time. Larry had gone to town for a Social at the Fire Hall, Lexi and I planned to curl up and watch tv. Easy evening. Internet went out, power kept flickering off and Larry came home early.

The lichen looks so fresh.

All the trees are dripping.

Chickadees are always busy.

More sprouting in the gardens.
