Looks like a nice day on the horizon - sky is clear. We had a good drive up yesterday afternoon. Went straight over to Scotian Gold in Cold Brook since Larry was on the hunt for seeds and they carry both companies he's looking for - Annapolis Seeds and Hope Seeds. One stop shopping. Finally I got to Miner's Marsh. I was a little hesitant at first since there were a lot of people around - walking, jogging, dogs and babies, but the birds and animals were oblivious to them. It's a great spot, lots of Red-Winged Blackbirds, Tree Swallows, Turtles, a couple of Pied Billed Grebes, a Beaver, Mallards a few Cedar Waxwings and a pair of Canada Geese (she was actually on a nest). I didn't see the Wood Ducks and you could hear all kinds of frogs. We are heading back over there this morning - in an hour or so then Larry's appointment, some quick shopping at New Minas and homeward bound.
