Day 218 - 10th August 2017 - Boats, Cormorant and Black & White Warbler

Daylight is slower coming these days, those long days of summer are passing quickly. A Song Sparrow is softly singing in the woods this morning. The fog didn't take long to lift Wednesday and turned into another beautiful day. Not quite as busy as it has been the last few days - the ferry from Maine to Yarmouth was laid up again. But it does seem that Nova Scotians and Canadians in general are visiting our wonderful area. It was a good day to do candle dipping and was happy to have a few folks join us and try their hand. The Schooner got out to race, unfortunately I missed that, maybe today I'll see them. Nothing like big sails going down the harbour. Last night was haircut night for both of us, thank goodness.
 Beautiful morning on the harbour.
So calm and peaceful. I stopped and talked to a couple who had come in the following day from Connecticut. No matter when, you play tourist guide.
 A Cormorant was catching breakfast.
And so was a Black & White Warbler.

Enjoy your day!
